Background

Mackenzie started riding at five and hasn't stopped since — twenty-one years in the saddle. She holds a BS in Business Management and Equine Studies from Emory & Henry College and runs her program out of Lexington, Kentucky.

She has earned seven national titles, including top finishes at Arabian Sport Horse Nationals, and her Colors at the Fort Leavenworth Fox Hunt. She has trained with Bernie Traurig, R Scot Evans, Heather Richardson, Jessica Denniston, Lisa Moosmueller-Terry, and Tom Brennan.

Her work covers hunters, jumpers, equitation coaching, dressage, foxhunting, and eventing, with a particular focus on producing off-the-track Thoroughbreds and bringing up Arabian sport horses.

My partner

Dacota Bey · Dax

Dax is an Arabian. Mackenzie started him under saddle as a four-year-old stallion who had never been ridden — he wasn't even hers at the time. She produced him into a finished sport horse competing at the national level, and eventually he became her own.
